Today more than 1300 prospects / customers referenced by Andra are PNE.These are hospitals, laboratories, educational establishments, etc.These are geographically dispersed establishments that are isolated in their area of expertise and have little or no nuclear culture. We found that these customers were addressed in "firefighter" mode and that there is no such service on the market when there is a high demand.They need responsiveness, education and recognition in their profession. As they are not experts in the field of radioactive waste management and associated regulations, they need to be supported from the collection of waste until its disposal to the appropriate channel.Orano, through its Oxilio subsidiary, offers PNEs a turnkey solution to ensure the safe management of their nuclear waste until its final disposal at ANDRA. Thanks to daily dedicated support, the Oxilio team offers the following services- Waste management: characterization and conditioning of your nuclear waste, global management and expertise of your waste process.- Containment: technical diagnosis, efficiency and conformity control of installations, installation of containment locks.- Radiation protection and nuclear measurement: mapping of your equipment, search for nuclear sources and waste and technical support in radiation protection.- Remediation: clean-up of contaminated surfaces and equipment, deployment of radiological contamination fixation/containment processes.- Dismantling: definition of tools and specific intervention conditions for each operation, dismantling certified by Orano's expertise.- Complete administrative procedures: declaration to the authorities, ANDRA acceptance file, transport file, technical support during the investigation, etc.We have jointly built this service with our various clients.
