Qualifying and industrializing new processes and technologies
Orano can prepare for the industrialisation of your processes & technologies based on your requirements and input data, and, if necessary, can qualify and commission systems at your facilities.
-
Benefit from the reliable deployment of your processes & technologies for your high-impact industrial investments (designing / revamping workshops, developing specific tools to meet chemical, physical, mechanical and thermal requirements, etc.).
Check that the design meets all expectations and requirements in full prior to production.
Validate the operating envelope to optimise the control of processes & technologies.
Depending on the maturity of the processes & technologies, Orano Projets teams can:
- cover a wide range of tasks from bibliographical studies to support for industrial commissioning and providing training for operators, not forgetting multi-disciplinary design,
- carry out studies in close cooperation with current or future operators,
- contact our regular partner research institutes.
In addition, for some processes, Orano Projets can benefit from the support of its research and development centre (Hall de Recherche de Beaumont, HRB), which is used to develop and qualify the processes & technologies installed and used at our plants.
- Co-construction with the operator,
- Managing studies in project mode in compliance with regulatory frameworks,
- Getting used to working in multi-sector, multi-disciplinary and/or multi-cultural mode (operators, engineers, researchers, authorities, etc.).
- Methods which are tested at every industrialisation phase for processes & technologies
- Many internal experts with the support of partnerships with research institutes,
- Knowledge of complex regulations (nuclear industries, pharmaceutics, chemistry),
- Construction of Orano group plants (infrastructures and processes),
- Research and development centre for the design and qualification of some processes,
- Assistance contracts concluded with owners in various fields.
- Fully fledged industrialisation expertise for processes & technologies via the processes installed and used at our plants, but also on the premises of our customers
- Industrialisation methods which have been tested in view of industrial commissioning during R&D phases
- A network of in-house group experts supported by close cooperation with research institutes and external contributors
- On-site teams, used to designing processes & technologies hand-in-hand with the operator
- Operator training
