Training in artificial intelligence in an industrial environment
This course is designed to explain the main principles of artificial intelligence and how to create your own applications with experienced production and other types of engineers.
-
Learn essential facts about artificial intelligence and how it can be used in order to:
- Identify potential applications
- Assess how to simplify your daily tasks and help with decision-making
- Discuss details with data scientists in view of stating your own needs
- Understand the limits of this new science.
These courses are led by engineers specialised in artificial intelligence (AI).
Thanks to their sector-specific and AI skills, these engineers can provide brief, but clear information on how artificial intelligence can contribute to engineering.
This course aims to include:
- Educational materials matching your situation,
- Relevant arguments in the engineering field,
- A gateway between engineering and data science jobs.
By the end of this course, you will understand basic AI concepts and be able to produce your own AI applications for your tasks.
- A wide range of examples based on real-life situations from our own studies and plants
- Case studies to clearly explain how to use AI
- Trainers with both engineering and AI skills
Orano benefits from solid expertise in engineering disciplines and AI combined with high-tech software and hardware (Python tools and dedicated multi-CPU and multi-GPU servers, 448 TFLOPS).
Orano has already developed multiple AI applications, mainly surrogate models able to considerably reduce calculation times for thermal, fluid mechanics, fire, solid mechanics and neutronic phenomena; and to propose optimised designs.
Orano has also developed AI transitional digital twins which can help to better understand and optimise industrial processes, and even to produce physics-based training simulators.
- Understand the basic concepts behind artificial intelligence applied to engineering
- At the end of the course, be able to produce your own AI applications to meet your specific needs
- Learn to discuss details with data scientists to state your own needs and expectations
