On-call personnel
In each plant, personnel from various activities can be mobilized at any time in the event of a technical equipment problem or operating incident. These are called "on-call personnel".
OPRI
The office of protection from ionizing radiation is responsible for ionizing radiation impact prevention (See also "DGSNR"). This mission is carried out in four areas: - helping to enforce laws and regulations in the field of radiation protection, - contributing to radiation protection training and public information, - conducting an appraisal of future radiation protection methods, and - advising the government on health and medical measures to be taken in the event of an incident or accident. OPRI provides support to the government during nuclear plant licensing and for radioactive release permits. OPRI also ensures that nuclear plant operators comply with authorized release limits and radiation protection methods through regular and frequent inspections.
